Summary

Originally a software engineer graduate from Vietnam in 2015, my path to the US was unexpectedly diverted by the language barrier, leading me to take on various jobs, including driving for Amazon Flex. Amidst this, I noticed a common challenge faced by drivers - securing shifts amidst fierce competition. Drawing on my technical expertise, I developed Zero Flex, a scheduling bot, which not only streamlined my own scheduling but also gained traction among fellow drivers, attracting up to 600 subscriptions monthly.

Now on the brink of completing the Springboard online bootcamp, I'm poised to re-enter the software engineering field with enhanced skills and a steadfast commitment to leveraging technology for practical solutions.

    During my Springboard online bootcamp journey, I mastered Python Flask for backend development, integrated with Jinja for dynamic website creation and Postgres for data management. I advanced in ReactJS for frontend development, crafting interactive user experiences, and revisited fundamental algorithms and data structures, enhancing my problem-solving skills significantly.
  • Zero Flex - NBPLUS CORP
    As a solo entrepreneur, I founded a company to offer the Zero Flex app to Amazon Flex drivers, reaching thousands of signups and peaking at 600 subscriptions. The app swiftly gained traction, streamlining scheduling processes and enhancing efficiency for drivers in the gig economy.

    At Platform5, I joined as a fresh Wordpress developer, quickly adapting to the company's workflow and their customized platform. I led a team of three in assisting a partner with CMS testing, contributing to collaborative efforts and fostering valuable partnerships.
